We are proud to present this unrepeatable 2003 Ferrari Enzo finished in the one-off livery of beautiful Grigio Titanio (factory code 3238 140) over Pelle Rosso (factory code 112806) with only 2,922 miles from new. This USA-specification Enzo was special-ordered new by 250 GTO owner and Ferrari SpA VIP client Chip Connor.

This Enzo is fitted with VIN number ZFFCW56A830135872, engine number 80775, gearbox number 313, body number 116, and carries assembly number 52895. The factory build commenced on 12th of December 2003, and concluded on 30th of April 2004. Its Grigio Titanio paint color makes it only 1 of 6 produced in this exterior color. Of those, only 1 car left the factory with Rosso interior.

Upon factory completion, Connor himself collected the Enzo directly from the Maranello factory on Italian Touring plates EE.497.BP. The vehicle was later imaged by Marcel Massini at Laguna Seca raceway, August 2004, still wearing said EE plates.

Subsequent to Connor's ownership, 135872 was sold in 2012 to a Beverly Hills collector. During his stewardship, the Enzo was entered in the Cavallino Classic in 2013, where it won the Supercar Cup Award. The car also appeared in the book 'Ferrari Hypercars' by Winston Goodfellow (back cover and interior pages 207, 208 and 209). Winston noted this particular Enzo on page 208: "With most Enzos red, perhaps the most stunning of all is chassis 135872. The smoky metallic silver (Grigio Titanium) and red interior is a unique combination on the model, the exterior color really showing off the model's architectural lines."

Thereafter, it was sold in 2014 by Joe Sackey Classics to a Dallas collector, who still retains the car today, 7 years later. Sackey & Co. has secured the owner's blessing to bring this superb Enzo to auction purely due to his trust as a loyal long-term client.

Only 400 units of the Enzo were set for production by Ferrari, and few can claim this striking combination of historical significance, 1-of-1 livery, and exceedingly low mileage.

This Enzo is presented with a clean Montana title in the name of the seller's Montana LLC. The title is free & clear, and ready for transfer to a new owner.

Cosmetics

This Enzo is in original & unmodified condition. It retains all original paintwork, and has no accident history. The Carfax report is 100% clean (see gallery Miscellaneous section for full report). The car has been stored in a climate-controlled garage for the full 7-year duration of its current ownership.

The car is cosmetically excellent inside & out. The following are the only cosmetic blemishes noted:

  • There are 3 tiny paint chips near the front headlight. They are extremely small, and the chips are very shallow/superficial, and not easily detected unless pointed out.
  • A scratch on the small '1 of 399' plaque in the door entry area.
  • The driver side headlight lens has a streak of fog within the unit (a common Enzo issue and easily rectified).

Each of the above is imaged in the Miscellaneous section of the Gallery below.

There are no cosmetic modifications applied to the vehicle whatsoever, other than paint protection film (PPF) which covers the front bumper and wheel-well arches.

Mechanicals

The car has been cared for to an exceptional degree, and performs as any low-mileage example should.

Under Chip Connor's ownership, the car was treated to new tires and fan belts in 2010, in addition to oil/fluid services. Under the Beverly Hills owner, service receipts show that the A/C compressor was replaced, a new clutch installed, and oil/fluid services completed. Servicing under current ownership has included routine oil/fluid services.

The tires currently fitted are the O.E. specified Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Scuderia, with 2008 date codes in the front and 2010 date codes in the rear.

There are no known mechanical or functional issues outstanding.

There are no mechanical modifications applied to the vehicle whatsoever.

Important Notes for Bidders

Bidding requires creating a Login, completing the My Account page information fields in full, and entering credit card information upon placing a first bid. As this process can take some time, we highly recommend placing a first bid well in advance of the end of the auction. Additionally, ensure your computer or device's Date / Time and Time Zone are both set correctly ('automatic' mode is best) to ensure accurate display of the countdown clock.

Sackey & Co. is an auction-based listing service. The description of this auction listing is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate. Sackey & Co. performs its own additional level of due diligence on each listing. However, bidders must perform their own diligence to the level they feel is necessary before placing a bid.

If you win the auction, you will owe us a 5% buyer's fee (calculated based on the winning bid, with no fee cap). After paying our fee in full, you will purchase the vehicle directly from the seller for the high-bid amount, with assistance in the process provided by Sackey & Co. as needed.
